macl 1.3.2 on a quadra

Anyone know if MACL 1.3.2 will run on a Quadra 900?
(This is a stopgap measure until MCL 2 is available).
I've run 1.3.2 on an Fx with system 7.0, with everything speedy turned off,
and tried the same on the Quadra, but the application opens, and then 
immediately closes, with no messages (the finder windows stay intact),
no nuthin.
