radio-buttons in nested views

Some time ago there was a posting  concerning problems with radio-buttons
in nested views (a nil macptr in a radio-button-unpush during
install-view-in-window), but I haven't seen any solutions yet. Now I'm
running into the same problems.

Cause I have lost the original article to ask the author directly, i'm
doing it this way.
