Duplicated messages

One user has reported that he's getting duplicates of all messages. I seem to
be getting triplicates and quadruplets of all messages. Can't something be done
to eliminate all the superfluous copies? It would be greatly appreciated.

I subscribe to both "info-macl@@cambridge.apple.com" and to
"OODL.SIG@@applelink.apple.com". Could this be the reason for the
quadruplication?

It seems that all the mailers are copying the messages back to info-macl...and
I've received 5-6 copies of the question about garbage collection, with the
diagrams of parents and children nodes.

Can anyone explain what's happening here?
