MCL and EasyOpen

MCL2.0p2 does not coexist peacefully with Macintosh Easy Open (aka Translation
Manager, a piece of system software that provides an API to file format
translation). When MCL is running and I double-click on a MCL source file, I
get a message from Easy Open telling me 1) That MCL 2.0p2 could not be found
(what ?), 2) that appropriate translators could not be found either.
