another voice in protest

I, like many of this newsgroup, bought a Mac in order to run MCL.  I
am immensely discouraged by Apple's announcement.  My plans to buy a
PowerPC are on indefinite hold.

I am not impressed by the claim that support for Dylan will be a good
substitute for the vanishing support of MCL.  If they can fail to 
promote a fine product, and then abandon it, why should I place any
confidence in their plans for a product which does not yet exist?
