Quicktime 2.0 Music Instruments and MCL

Hi, does anybody have experience how to assemble MIDI data directly to 
a QuickTime movie, and play it directly from memory without that sound
selector box? Where could I find more information on QT2?

While writing this I'm playing Bach's Toccata&Fugue in the background,
and QuickTime 2 is making me seriously excited. I think it's the most
important invention in music technology for a long, long time!
