multiprocessing in MCL?

Would it be possible to introduce a multiprocessing
package in MCL using the System 7.5 extension "Thread
Manager"?
I think that multiprocessing is the only major feature
missing from MCL when compared to the UNIX Common Lisp
implementations. In all the other important features
MCL is the superior language.
If it is possible, who will do it? Would make a real
nice contribution for cambridge.apple.com ...
