I would like to hear from anyone who has successfully built
MAXIMA under KCL on a sun3 running OS 4.0.1.

I have negotiated the perils of building akcl-1-98 using gcc 1.34.
MAXIMA-4-103 builds fine until "ld" pulls down a segmentation fault
due to stack bizarreness (alloca?).

Has anyone hit on a combination that works?
