trouble bringing up KCL under SunOS 4.0
I'm sure this question must have been asked many times before, so
please forgive me for bothering you. I've just acquired KCL (the
licence agreement is "in the post", as they say) and am trying to
bring it up on a Sun 3/50 running SunOS 4.0.1_Export. When I say
`make' I eventually get
<lots of messages omitted>
Initializing cmpwt...
Loading ../cmpnew/cmpmpmain.lsp
sh: 2045 Memory fault - core dumped
*** Error code 139
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `saved_kcl'
Current working directory /users/alien/kcl/unixport
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all'
Can anyone offer assistance to one very confused person?
Many thanks.
