| Well, I didn't recompile.  I was hoping that I would be able to
| continue to use the binaries.  For everyone's information, I have
| 1.492 and Sun OS 4.1.1.  I'll try recompiling (sigh) and see if
| that works better.

I think you need a newer version of AKCL to run under the new Sun OS
operating system.  In version 1.5xx, they append the magic number on
the end of the binary files.  This may help you.
