To compile pcl under akcl 605 use the fixes and makefile in
rascal.ics.utexas.edu:pub/pcl-4b-akcl.tar.Z

Directions for obtaining and compiling pcl are in that file.

PCL stands for the Portable Common Loops a free implemention from
xerox of the common lisp object system (more or less).   It forms the
basis for many common lisp vendors common lisp object system support.
