I apologize for Symbolics about the Lisp is like English remark. As is usual,
this remark was taken out of context.
Lisp is like English in that it has trivial syntax, (lexically), and that it
is infinitely extensible in functions
and objects without going outside that
syntax. It share these properties with
few other computer languages (e.g. Forth).
Under no conditions was it ever meant that Lisp "looks like" English, or that
it is a subset of English.
