       I'm curious how often customers (that is, all you guys)
       end up booting their (your) machines, and what you boot them for.

We don't have a machine per user/programmer. Number of boots depend on the type of 
changes done to a world. At times we boot three times a week. There
are times also were a couple of us live together in one world for three
or four weeks with occasional GC-IMMEDIATELY 's  in the night.
