0Hardware maps not needed.  In whatever Zmacs mode you use for editing TeX,
replace the accessible and less useful keys with code that inserts braces,
putting this on the *mode-comtab* in the :mode-forms method for that mode.

BTW, flush the annoying tiny font in your mail messages.
