    There's rumor that Symbolics has filed Chapter 11? Any truth to this?
    I hope not.

None whatsoever.

Symbolics recently announced first quarter (July-Sept) financial
results.  It's hard to say whether they are "good" or not, since it
depends what you compare them to and how much weight you give to the
seasonal adjustment (the first quarter has always been the weakest every
year), and it's still below profitable, but it's hardly something that
should inspire Chapter 11 rumors.  Things have been quiet around here
lately.  No layoffs, a few new hires, and Software Products has been
interviewing for developers and tech writers for the last few weeks.
