Quick Redisplay of Dynamic Window

Dear SLUGers,

Recently, someone asked to slug mailing list how to redisplay dynamic
windows efficiently, and someone answered that to avoid redisplaying
objects outside the current viewport would make it faster to redisply
dynamic windows. The answer message contained some lisp codes to show
how to do it.

Could anyone on the slug mailing list please send me the answering
mail?  I, now, have the same problem, but missed both asking and
answering mails.
