    2) The Symbolics: Teach it to understand Explorer pathnames.

TI will send you a patch for this on request: you must load some software on
all your symbolics and explorers for it to work. It basically involves
inventing a new machine type: TI-LISPM and some path name properties. I also
then had to patch the software that downloads a host-table from NIC to fixup
the machine type for any explorers.

If you can't get the patch from TI, let me know, and I'll send you my copy.
It's based on an old patch for handling LMI machines, I think written at
MIT. (but so much of all this software was, of course!)
