    Hi folks:

We seem to be having trouble with the terminal emulator in 7.2; I'm trying to
talk to a Sun (4.2BSD) using vt100 emulation. Most things work fine, but Emacs
(yes, I know, Zmacs is better, quicker, etc., etc., but I use Emacs as a shell
and mail reader, etc., on the Sun) becomes brain-damaged.

Not addressing your emulator problem (don't have 7.2 up yet so I can't
suggest anything), but you can read your UNIX mail from Zmail, you know...
plus there is a PD Rsh floating around if your UNIX admin people are willing
to "trust" your symbolics...

I almost never use the terminal program anymore thanks to this stuff, except
to get to hosts where I'm not trusted.
