MacIvory pricing

    What news on MacIvory prices for the academic world?  We had been
    anxiously awaiting the announcements but the numbers we've heard so
    far are astronomical and may force us to order MicroExplorers
    instead.

Astronomical to TI? Infoworld lists a "full" MacIvory setup
for $21,900, while the TI rep at MacWorld quoted me $25,000 for
a full Microexplorer setup. Real costs should be considerably cheaper
since you can by Mac II's and peripherals at discount prices elsewhere. 
I don't know about MacIvory or Microexplorer prices for academia.
