Optional Sources

Can someone enlighten me as to exactly what constitutes the optional
sources? Chris Lindblad implied that the Printer Support system is one
part, and i believe the mailer sources are another. What other goodies
    are there?

Type "Show System Definition System", and it will put "(Optional)" and
"(Restricted)" next to the names of optional sources (in 7.2 all the
restricted sources were reclassified to optional, but the system
definitions weren't updated).

If you're talking about the message that Chris sent today about the
LGP2, he said nothing about optional sources. What he said is that the
Symbolics LGP2 (LaserWriter/Postscript) support costs extra. The LGP2
product actually doesn't contain any code; all it contains is a data
file of font metrics (SYS:FONTS;LGP2;LGP2-METRICS.LISP). Postscript
output is actually part of the standard hardcopy software, and the
source is Basic (see SYS:HARDCOPY;LGP2.LISP).
