Of course, on the Macintosh, Ivory can't use the RAM on the processor
board because Apple doesn't allow them to partition main memory
between the 68020 and other processors. A Mac II with 8MB of main
memory still needs 8MB of NuBus memory in order to support MacIvory.
It might be the same with an embedded Ivory in a NeXT machine. There
may be 8MB of memory on the processor board, but it may be useless to
the Ivory processor. Of course, given that Mach was written with
multiple processors in mind, perhaps they got this right.
