		Thanks for everyone's input. When does 7.4 get released?

	    7.4 was released early this year, but only for Ivory machines.  7.5 is
	    supposed to be released this winter.

	This was the official party line until fairly recently.  The current plan is
	for Release 8.0 to be released in early spring of 1990.

    About a week ago our Account Rep told us that the new release was
    actually going to be EARLIER than was announced at SLUG, i.e. around
    December.  How recent is this change?

Your account rep may be confused.  The only "release" scheduled to ship before
the end of calendar 1989 is a UX400s ECO (Genera 7.4.4, aka 7.4 ECO #4), whose
purpose is solely to fix UX400s bugs not caught in time for the initial
release.

Genera 7.5 was renamed (renumbered?) to 8.0 for marketing reasons, within the
last week.  The target ship date is still in the first quarter of '90.
