Use SELECT F (FSEDit) to edit the properties of the directories you want to affect. Change Auto Expunge Interval to a time interval (e.g. 3 days) rather than "never". It will then expunge every that often. (Note: it doesn't age each file for that interval, it expunges on that schedule.)
