Symbolics Layoffs

Symbolics has had internal "layoffs" this week. I understand
that around 30 individuals from the US have been affected,
from low level to high.

I hope that Symbolics will provide swift details of whys and
wherefors. We still await details of reorganization/strategic
directions which have been in process since January. I
personally wish that mean time between informing users was an
order of magnitude less.
