One of my customers is looking for an interface between a
Symbolics and "MACH" a language/operating system developed for
DARPA by Carnegie Mellon University several years ago.

Mach is an operating system kernel. There's a Unix clone that runs on
top of it.

    Any information will be appreciated........

What kind of interface are you looking for? I'm sure Mach supports all
the common TCP/IP protocols, and probably most of the Berkeley Unix
protocols (rexec, lpd). The remote file system it supports is probably
the Andrew File System, which was also developed at CMU (it's being used
at MIT's Project Athena as well).
