SYMBOLICS' CONSULTING GROUP AWARDED DELTA DEVELOPMENT 
CONTRACT TO DELIVER FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


Burlington, Mass., July 15, 1991 -- Symbolics' Consulting Group 
today announced that it has been awarded a contract by Delta Air 
Lines to develop a decision support system for fuel management.  
The primary objective of the system is to help reduce operating costs 
by increasing the frequency and quality of information available for 
tracking and managing fuel resources.  Delta Air Lines operates over 
2,600 flights daily in nearly 200 airports worldwide.

Symbolics' Consulting Group previously developed an operational 
prototype of Delta's fuel management system using the Company's 
hardware and software. 

When fully developed, the fuel management system will be integrated 
with other applications under development at Delta to produce Delta's 
next generation flight management support system.
