Anyone know the DIALnet/subnet character to cause a delay in dialing out?

In the subnets file, isn't there a character to insert in the phonenumber patterns
to make the modem pause before continuing? This would be used after dialing "9",
to give the local PBX a chance to return a dialtone before continuing.

I am pretty sure that there used to be one, but I can't find it in the Rel 8 doc,
and I dont have sources handy. Any advice most welcome, am trying to gain contact
with my colleague now on-site at a client. Thanks.

For the CDS224 it's "O".
