I don't know for sure but isn't the xt4380 an ESDI device and not an ST506 device which
is what the 3620 uses.
New 3620's have the option to come equipped with ESDI or ST506 drives.
Here are the Symbolics model numbers:
SYS-3620-KE-S - includes a 380mb ESDI drive. (requires Genera 7.2)
SYS-3620-E-S - includes 190mb ST506 drive.
I don't know of any upgrade package for changing ST506 -> ESDI drives.
