Has any one heard of an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software
that runs in Lisp.
Not "optical" per se, as there are no optics involved, but MCC has a
neural-net based pattern recognition system that works pretty well for
hand-drawn characters and other sketched symbols. Presumably it can
also be trained to work on printed matter, although segmentation would
be an issue. If you need contact info, let me know.
