Yes, I have compiled it here at Mich State Univ. In the original
release of May Day PCL the two files (cpatch.lisp & quadlap.lisp)
were missing from the distribution, the problem is fixed now. You
should ftp pcl again.
Ooops, I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. I do have those
two files. It's just that the compiler gets into an infinite loop when
trying to compile cpatch.lisp. Appended is a shortened dribble of the
compile session.

At this point, I tried control-C and control-D but that didn't seem to
stop the continual printing of that last error message. I end up doing
a control-Z and killing the process.
