dumped emacs saves old modeline

When I make a fast starting version of EMACS using the M-X Dump Emacs
command, the mode line that gets displayed when it is initially
invoked is the mode line that existed when emacs was dumped.  In
particular, the load average and date are wrong. This is really not a
mojor problem, but I was wondering if there would be a way to avoid
this.
