For some weeks now, ELLEN has been intending to fetch the current
version of the MACLISP manual off backup tape, and put it back on the
LSPMAN directory. It apparently was backed up sometime after the
publishing of the new manual (parts 1,2,and3) last summer. The
thing on LSPMAN that appears to be a manual is a false lead, dating
to sometime in 1973; the thing from the backup tape is the ting
from which the current published version is printed.
