I just lost a fair amount of work because lisp was not set to autokeep. It is
getting to be a real PAIN IN THE ASS that we can't get our act together on this
problem. I would think that any program that has any signifigant state (or
that can have arbitrary subforks) should be set autokeeping. This doesn't seem
to be that hard a rule to follow, so can't somebody who is more familiar than I
am with the stuff in the system directories make a pass over them and check for
screws like that?
