How about adding a top-level (or Edit level) menu item called "Prod"
or somesuch that lets you mouse a window, asks that window for its
repetoire, and lets you Zwei-filter-construction-like compose a
message to send it.  At least it could let you mouse one of the
operations and type an argument for the message.  Is this generally
useful?  I haven't used the LISPMs enough to know, but it seems it
would be, given the message-based flavor system and the display
orientation of the system.
