display on cadr1

The display on cadr1 seems to be in bad shape. Intermitently it seems to loose
horizontal deflection. However, when this happens it doesn't listen to the keyboard
and in the cases when the problem goes away the machine is left dead. It seems to be
insensitive wrt which system is running.
