    FDEFINE (?) believes GLR;GLR LISPM is GLR;GLR > (possibly mistaking it for 
    a QFASL file)

File names are canonicalized into that form for purposes of keeping track
of where things live.  I don't think it's possible to do this "right"
in the face of conflicting file-naming conventions in ITS.  Probably something
could be done to make this particular case (login init files)
work a little better.
