In zwei in Release 4.3, site configuration 28,
Educational Computing Group, on Lisp Machine Twenty:
I did ^X-A (Append to Buffer), and gave a new buffer name. A few
moments later, I did ^X-B FOO, where the buffer FOO didn't exist,
either. It left me in the buffer with the appended text in it.
Furthermore, any subsequent ^X-B requests for new buffers return to that
same buffer, and give it a new name. The lossage goes away if you kill
the wedged buffer.
