In zwei in Release 4.5, site configuration 62, on Lisp Machine John Lennon:
m-X Compile Changed Definitions when I have 30 buffers is really slow.
It pages like crazy; presumably it is mapping across every node of every
buffer. What about caching per buffer information about whether there
is any node in that buffer that needs recompilation?
