In Symbolics 3600 ZWEI in Release 6.0, IP-TCP 29.0, MLSite 7.2,
microcode TMC5-MIC 319, FEP 18, on Lisp Machine Telluride:
The current font should be context sensitive, like it is in MacWrite.
The current font should be the same font as the character preceeding the
cursor, unless an explicit change font command is given.
An alternative is to define the current font to be the same as the two
characters surrounding the cursor, if those fonts are the same, and font
A if the cursor is between two characters with different fonts.
This would save an awful lot of font changing. It works in MacWrite, so
it must be pretty easy for people to get used to.
