C-X K lossage

In zwei in Release 5.0, Experimental MIT 1.4, on Lisp Machine Bing Crosby (3600):

I have two buffers, one named lispm-init.lisp oz:<bagley> oz: (1) and
the other the same thing but version (2).  The version (2) one is the
current buffer.  I try to kill it with C-X K.  When it asks what buffer
to select, I hit return, but it won't select that other buffer.
