In Symbolics 3600 Release 6.0, IP-TCP 29.0, AISite 9.4, microcode TMC5-MIC 319, FEP 24 EDIT-BUFFERS should have room on a line for two options -- a "D" and some other op. Right now if you do "~" "D" (so it will kill the buffer without complaining) it looks like you're trying to delete a modified bufer. Yet it does the right thing. this would also be good for doing "PD" -- print and then delete this buffer.
