I think the discussion on cl-cleanup is inconclusive enough that the
next step on this proposal is to take it to the wider forum of
common-lisp@sail.stanford.edu. I don't think we're going to make a lot
more progress on it here. There are enough reservations about the
soundness of the programming style it encourages that I think it
requires a clearer mandate from the user community to justify a required
language extension.
