Let me encourage you to avoid feeling provoked by JonL's reaction to this
issue, and find the time to produce a slightly modified version of the
proposal which is a little more specific about the issues raised: eliminate
the "component" language in the definition except as a description of
intent (for EQUAL tables, what is a component might be different than for
EQUALP tables), change the "is an error to modify" language to be more
specific in saying that the value of subsequent GETHASH calls *on that key*
might be affected.
