I agree with most of DEFMACRO-LAMBDA-LIST:TIGHTEN-DESCRIPTION,
except ... Contrary to what you say in the rationale, it does
not work to substitute &REST for &WHOLE here. ...
Right. Total (hopefully temporary) brain lapse on my part. Consider the
proposal ammended -- I'll distribute a new writeup hopefully sometime
soon but won't have time to get to it today.
