I don't see that :FINISH-ON-RELEASE T problem under Lucid CLIM,
although I have observed other problems with
CLIM:DRAGGING-OUTPUT-RECORD: the dragged record is only visible when
the mouse is moving (presumably because CLIM is drawing-then-erasing
rather than erasing-then-drawing), and the final position of the
dragged object is offset by 4 from what CLIM:DRAGGING-OUTPUT-RECORD
reports.
