3 button mouse in MCL CLIM?

What is the status of 3-button mouse support in MCL
and CLIM for MCL?  Logitech makes the 3-button
Mouseman now (primarily for Mac X applications).
But for portability it would be nice to use 3 buttons
on all CLIM applications, SMBLX, Suns, Macs, etc.
