	Can some please provide with the citation that best describes CLIM for
	machine-independent, new users?  I am think more of a book like the CLOS book.
	Is there such a thing? I need to mention it in a paper.

    There is no such book, although there have been discussions here at
    `Bolics about writing such a book.

    The only published things are the CACM (September `91) side-bar that SWM
    wrote, and the Lisp Pointers paper on Silica/CLIM published last year
    sometime (Vol IV, number 1).

And the CLIM 1.0 reference/user's manual, of course.  Since most
of the vendors are shipping a manual derived from the same
ancestor, they are all pretty similar and pretty
machine-independent.
