  How come CLIM does not provide a facility analogous to tv:MULTIPLE-MENU-CHOOSE
  on the Lisp Machine?  This addresses a common choice situation and everyone
  will just have to write their own anyway.

This antique could easily be implemented on top of accepting-values.
If you want to use all those old genera-6 style menu-choose types,
however, you'll have to throw in some code that maps them to
existing presentation-types.

This is the kind of thing that ought to be in the user-contributed
library.  Any volunteers?
