I don't see anything about clim that prevents you from doing the
west-coast style...open-window-stream will let you create a single
window with no trouble. you can also define an app-frame with a single
pane and accomplish the same thing (and probably a lot more).

so "crunch as many [windows] as you want. we'll make more"
