    Platform: Symbolics Genera 8.3, CLIM 2.0

    doing a simple accepting-values dialog in the demo-listener leaves the
    cursor visible and blinking. It is so obvious that I assume there is
    some reason behind that behavior (although I find it annoying).

    Could somebody please enlight me!

More recent patches than you have in Genera 8.3 fix this.  I don't plan
to send out the fix for this as a Genera 8.3 ECO, since the risk doesn't
seem worth the tiny benefit.
